Introduction

From 03/14/2022 - 05/20/2022 I taught two blocks of  Biology I at South Warren High School. The first block class lasted from 7:30 am - 8:53 am and consisted of 26 students, (23 Freshman and 3 Sophomores). This class also consisted of 14 LEP students and 1 504. The second block class lasted from 9 am - 10:23 am and consisted of 22 students, (all Freshman). This class also consisted of 3 LEP students, 6 IEP students, 1 PASS and 1 504.
Both of these classes were collaboration classes. This means that I had special groups of students within my classes that required an extra teacher to be present. In my first block I had LEP students, these are the English as a second language students. In my second block I had IEP students, these are students who have an individual education plan. I also had a student in each block that had a 504 plan. Lastly, I had one student in second block that was in the PASS program. The PASS program stands for "Positive Approach for Student Success" and is for the inclusion of students with behavior disorders.
